Kiedo wrap belts have received the Key Flag mark as a symbol of Finnish manufacturing and employment of Finnish people. The wrap belts are made by Finnish craftsmanship from durable and high-quality materials. Local production
We employ six Finnish small businesses in the production of Kiedo products. The wrap belts are cut and sewn in Pirkanmaa, where the zero waste jewelry is also made. Our leather jacket, made from domestic game, is made from start to finish in Tampere.
It's great to collaborate with Finnish craftmanship – together we create something valuable and sustainable, with each product bearing the handiwork of its maker.
Ecological
Kiedo wrap belts and bags are made from industrial surplus leather, and some of the products also utilize surplus from our own production. The products are tied with ribbons from cutting leftovers, and Kiedo and the brand's partners also use the surplus to make beautiful jewelry and accessories.
Kiedo jewelry is packaged in a biodegradable, high-quality jewelry box, which is a Finnish innovation. Our FSC-certified mailing bags are also made in Finland from 100% recyclable Finnish raw fiber. You can reuse our paper mailing bag, use it as a compost bag, or recycle it in a cardboard collection.
