Pre-order - design your dream leather gloves. Kiedo x Liisa Sauso leather gloves are made to withstand wear and attract attention. Liisa Sauso Oy has been manufacturing stylish, exceptionally well-fitting, high-quality leather gloves in Turenki for 37 years. You can choose either a warm, soft wool lining or a thinner silk lining, and design the details you want for your own gloves. Glove size is determined by the circumference of the widest part of the palm. You can find the measuring instructions and measurements below in the size chart; the video guide for measuring gloves can be found above this text.

The gloves are made to order according to your wishes. The next batch will be ready in November, with deliveries made in the order the orders are placed. We will keep you updated on the status of your order.

Liisa Sauso Oy's leather gloves have a narrow fit and long fingers. The glove should initially fit snugly around the palm, even if there is a little extra length in the fingers. When putting on the glove, the fingers must be placed properly, allowing the leather to begin taking shape: it stretches around the palm and shortens at the fingers. This makes the glove fit your hand perfectly. If you prefer a roomier fit or are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the half-size larger. Please note that the gloves mold to your hands with use, so they may feel snug during the first few times you wear them.

Glove size is determined by the circumference of the palm. Measure the widest part of your hand without the thumb: wrap a measuring tape around your palm to get the measurement in centimeters, which indicates your glove size according to the size chart below. See the video instructions below the "add to cart" button.Kiedo x Liisa Sauso leather gloves are made to order so that we can make gloves that fit your hands perfectly, with the options you want. You can choose the lining material and details to suit your preferences. If needed, you can also order wider finger gaps if you have rheumatoid arthritis or your fingers otherwise need a little more room.

When you order Kiedo Sisu leather gloves, you get 25% off a card holder. Find the holder here.

The glove leather is protected and treated at the factory, where it is dyed and finished. Therefore, the gloves do not need to be separately protected or conditioned.

100% Finnish deerskin has been carefully selected for these leather gloves for its durability and flexibility. This results in long-lasting, practical gloves with an excellent fit. The gloves are made to be worn, and signs of use will develop over the years. You can, however, smooth wrinkles on the leather surface and restore the glove's shape by stretching it firmly lengthwise.

Genuine leather is never completely uniform - and that is how you can tell it apart from imitation leather. Leather is a natural material that bears the marks of life. Variations in color tones and degrees of darkness are characteristic of leather. An irregular surface, scars, and surface scratches are not defects but part of the natural material, demonstrating the authenticity of the raw material - and they do not affect the leather's durability. We value this wonderful material and strive for zero waste in our own production.

Kiedo products are manufactured by Finnish small entrepreneurs. All products are locally produced.

The products are made from deadstock leather and nordic deer leather. We aim for the most ecological and domestic solutions in packaging, product labels and mailing: our mailing bags are made in Finland from FSC-labeled paper and our domestic jewelry boxes are made from biodegradable wood fiber (Sulapac).

We strive for zero waste and use our leftover materials for our jewelry collection.

You can treat all Kiedo products and other top-grain leather items with:

Kiedo Leather Cream

Bag care

Bags go through all kinds of activities, so we recommend treating them with colorless leather cream. It's important to treat light-colored bags before first use. The cream protects the bag from rain, moisture and dirt. With colorless cream, scratches magically disappear from the leather. The cream also nourishes the leather. When the leather doesn’t dry out, it can last even for decades.

Please do not wear new dark jeans with lighter leather bags or belts, as the jeans may bleed color before the first wash.

Wrap belt care

Leather wrap belts are almost maintenance-free if you store them properly. Below you’ll find tips for new belt owners:

  • Remember to wrap the belt loosely around your body so it doesn’t chafe or come undone while moving
  • Tying the knot firmly is recommended
  • At first, a double knot, meaning two knots on top of each other, is a stylish and easy way to soften the belt
  • If you bought the belt for a special occasion, it’s good to wear it a few times before the event
  • The wrap belt will soften and become more flexible with use; you’ll notice the difference after just a few wears
  • The wrap belt absorbs oils from your hands, so the more you tie and “handle” it, the better – Kiedo’s leather wrap belts are maintenance-free thanks to this
  • Please store the belt away from sunlight and hot radiators, and do not store it tightly rolled or folded – you can also get a Kiedo Dustbag to protect your belts
  • If the leather of the belt dries out for some reason, you can treat it with a small amount of colorless leather cream or top-grain leather care product. Use the product sparingly and allow the cream to absorb well so it doesn’t stain clothes
  • You can gently brush a suede belt with a clothes brush or suede stone

Please do not wear new dark jeans with lighter leather bags or belts, as the jeans may bleed color before the first wash.

Jewelry care

  • Always put earrings on last when getting ready; hairspray or makeup is not good for leather
  • If makeup gets on a leather earring, you can clean it with colorless leather cream using a cotton swab Discover Kiedo Leather Cream
  • Baby wipes are also handy for removing dirt or makeup stains from leather products
  • Remember to use the silicone stoppers on hook earrings so the jewelry doesn’t catch on scarves and get lost
  • Store leather earrings away from direct sunlight, and do not keep your jewelry near radiators

Kiedo Ainoa Leather Jacket Care

You have a lovingly made leather jacket in your hands, and we wish you wonderful moments together for decades ❤️

The jacket comes with ecological, plant-based leather cream that moisturizes and cleans the leather and covers small marks on the leather surface. The cream also protects the jacket from moisture. It’s good to treat the jacket with a small amount of product every year, including before the first use. The cream is excellent for caring for other leather products as well.Discover Kiedo Leather Cream

Please do not store the jacket near a radiator or in direct sunlight. It’s best to keep the zipper closed on a jacket hanger; some hangers may leave marks or stretch the sleeves. When storing the jacket in a closet, remember that clothes need space to breathe, and leather may get creases if the closet is packed tightly with clothes. Leather withstands light rain, but if the jacket gets completely wet, let it fully dry with the zipper closed in its natural shape, and then treat it with leather cream (do not dry the jacket in a sauna). Small stains are easy to remove from leather with a damp cloth.

If you encounter any issues with the jacket, we are always here to help. The jacket is made so that all repairs are possible if, for example, the leather or lining accidentally tears.
